Flipping the script on patriotism

A lot of things make Britain great. But it's not always the story we hear.

Patriotism is being used as a weapon by people who want us to believe Britain's broken. Stories of decline and violence, often faked, have been spreading like wildfire on social media. And who benefits? The far-right who prey on fear and anger.

It's easy to forget the Britain you actually see around you. Neighbours who lend a hand. Communities that come together when it matters. Brilliant ideas, big-hearted people, and the everyday things that make this place feel like home.

Patriotism isn't just waving a flag or singing an anthem. True patriotism is caring for those around you, and believing in each other.

We’re on a mission to find the Britain worth celebrating - local legends, everyday moments, and the good stuff hiding in plain sight - and get it into the conversations that matter.  Family WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages, conversations in the pub, and over the garden fence.

Together we can remind people there's more to Britain than they see on social media.
